2 ripe avocados, halved and pitted
1/4 C diced onion
1/2 jalapeno, seeded and minced
1/4 C sour cream
2 T (or 1 whole lime) lime juice
1 clove minced garlic
1/4 t Tabasco or to taste
1/2 Roma tomato, diced (optional)
1 T chopped cilantro (optional)
Preheat girl to low heat and lightly oil grate.
Cook avocados on preheated grill until just slightly browned and caramelized. Allow to cool to room temperature, then remove the skins and cube. Place 1/2 C of avocado into a mixing bowl and mash together with the onion, jalapeno and sour cream. Stir in lime juice, garlic salt and Tabasco, then gently fold in remaining avocado along with tomatoes and cilantro, if desired. Chill 30 minutes before serving.
