Every time we go to the New Mexico State Fair, I have to get some grilled corn on the cob. When the local farms open up in July, August, September and October, I always buy corn and make my own. Yum!
GRILLED CORN ON THE COB
With the husk still on, soak submerged in water for 2-4 hours before grilling.
Preheat your grill to high heat.
Pull corn out of water and place directly on the grill.
The corn will steam and cook within the husk.
Turn occasionally to cook corn on all sides. Cook a total of 15-20 minutes.
Let stand for several minutes then use a kitchen towel or pot holders to peel back the husk and silk.
Rub with salted butter and sprinkle with pepper, garlic powder, Parmesan cheese and/or chili powder.
I like mine with salted butter & chili powder.
