BAKED PEARS
serves 4
2 pears
1 T maple syrup or honey
1/8 t cinnamon plus some for sprinkling
dash nutmeg
2 T Greek or vanilla yogurt
Wash pears well.
Cut in half.
Use a baller or knife to scoop out seeds.
Mix together maple syrup or honey with cinnamon & nutmeg. Now glaze each half with syrup mixture & place in small baking dish.
Bake for 30 min to 1 hour depending on your altitude at 375 degrees. With a fork, check for tenderness.
Place yogurt in scooped area and sprinkle with cinnamon. Serve warm.
