What to do with brown sugar that has become rock hard (if there is anything that can be done)?

ANSWER:
To prevent my brown sugar from getting hard, I use a clay disk soaked it water every 3 months. It never gets hard. You can buy these at any cooking supply store, Ebay, Amazon, Overstock, etc.
Times it did get hard before I had the clay disk, I would put it in the microwave a minute at a time until it was soft again.
