Serving others is a joy, especially when it's homemade. - Kimber (GreatScott.etsy.com)
When I'm sick or am visiting someone, I always appreciate their hospitality. The effort one puts forth to make sure their home is clean, a homemade meal, a comfortable temperature, a warm smile and friendly conversation means more to me than (although I'd be grateful too) buying us a meal at a restaurant or something of the sorts.
Take time to prepare your table not only for your guests but for your family. They will feel treasured and call you blessed.
Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it. Hebrews 13:2
I wonder if I've ever entertained angels...I hope so!

Getting together is such a rich time for relationships and families to grow together and is worth all the preparations for that person and/or family to feel special. Good intentions don't accomplish anything. Being hospitable requires thought, plans, and action.
And Kimber, you have a gift of making others feel treasured.
You're precious, Les! Thank you for saying such wise and sweet things.
