Wash an acorn squash and dry off. Cut in half and remove seeds.
Lay on a microwave safe plate.
Put 2 T unsalted butter into each cavity.
Then 2 T packed brown sugar into each of the cavities.
Microwave on high for 8-10 minutes.
When soft, remove from microwave and scoop out meat.
Puree or mash.
Serve immediately.
