WHAT'S FOR DESSERT? CHOCOLATE CHIP PUMPKIN BREAD

2 C sugar
1 1/4 C fresh pumpkin puree or canned pumpkin
(I made my own Pumpkin Puree and froze it last year.)
2/3 C oil
1/2 C water
3 eggs
2 1/4 C flour
2 t cinnamon
2 t nutmeg
3/4 t baking powder
1 t salt
1 C chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375°.
Mix all ingredients together then fold in chocolate chips.
Pour into 2 lightly greased loaf pans 3/4 full.
Bake for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
