HOW TO MAKE A FABRIC ROSETTE BRACELET

FABRIC ROSETTE BRACELET TUTORIAL

You'll need:
Fabric strips
felt, matching color
ribbon, matching color
scissors
hot glue gun
needle & thread (to make rosettes)

First you need to make a lot of small rosettes or at least 4 large ones.

You can watch this video on how to make fabric rosettes:

Take 4' of 2" remnant fabric, sew sections if needed.

Continue wrapping and twisting every inch or so.
Sew a quick stitch every once in a while to keep everything in place.

 Cut ends where needed.

Sew large stitches to keep in place.

Once you have all your rosettes made, line them up or arrange them on a piece of felt.
You want them to be pretty close together.

Take a pencil or marker and draw around the outside of the rosettes to mark where to cut.
GENTLY slide off the rosettes so that they're still in that same type of order.

On the inside of the pencil or marker line, cut the shape out.

Hot glue the middle of your ribbon laying across the felt.

Now hot glue the rosettes one at a time onto the felt, pressing each for 20 seconds to make sure it sticks.

When they're all glued down, you can leave it like it is, or embellish it. I like to use gem rhinestones, beads, antique buttons, etc. and glue it with Aleene's Jewel-It Embellishing Glue or sew them on.
Let dry for at least 8 hours.
