WHAT WE'RE SNACK'N ON? SIMPLY FRIED GREEN TOMATOES

I grew up eating fried green tomatoes that either my mom or daddy would make. I loved them as a kid and I love them now.

Pick fresh firm green tomatoes. These were from my brothers garden.

FRIED GREEN TOMATOES

green tomatoes
flour
salt
pepper
oil

Wash then slice the tomatoes.



Heat 1 to 2 T oil in a heavy bottom pan over medium high heat. 

Dredge tomato slices through flour and sprinkle with salt & pepper.



Cook until golden brown then turn.
