WHAT WE'RE DRINK'N? BERRY GOOD LEMONADE

BERRY GOOD LEMONADE
20 servings

1 3/4 C sugar
1 1/2 C freshly squeezed lemon juice, remove seeds from lemon juice, but leave pulp
8 C cold water
1/2 C blueberries or blackberries
1/2 C raspberries or strawberries

Combine sugar and 1 C water in a small saucepan, bringing to a boil and stir to dissolve. Allow to cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate until chilled.

In pitcher, stir together syrup, lemon juice and remaining 7 C cold water.

Add berries and serve.

Only a 1/2 recipe shown.

P.S. If you make it more than 2 hours before serving, don't put the berries in until ready to serve because the lemonade will turn pink.
